This website is very cool:
CUAID. It's designed by someone who's just left Cambridge as the perfect Cambridge student's homepage - hermes, BBC news, Google, facebook - it's all on there. Better still, every time you search with the CUAID Google, all the money you raise goes straight to charity. It's a way for students to give that is sort of built in to our usual daily routines. Use it! Use it!
Other news: I'm a bad, bad girl.
I should be in a lecture at this very moment - ah! Shock, horror! Why am I bunking? Well, I was checking and replying to my emails until I was going to be late for the lecture anyway. Then I realised that it's one of the English Faculty lectures about Early Medieval Literature. Which so far have tended towards 'there was a man called Bede'. Not so useful. So I decided not to go. As simple as that. Of course, I've realised since that there's also an Anglo-Saxon History lecture that I could have gone to at the same time... which I really would have enjoyed, but I hate walking into a lecture room in the middle. donals_girl has hopefully got my lecture notes from it, as well as the obligatory 'so Keynes said...' story.
In the mean time I will be working - translating Old English ever so hard. So there.
