(no subject)
worst drive back to philly ever
but first i had an amazing weekend. friday eri and i hung out. we went out to eat the to see see sin city, which was amazing, then we took a spur of the moment trip to freehold mall cause haven't done that in ages and also went down schulmeister, which is our road man!! <333 the schulmeister. the only thing that could have made that day better was if jel could hang out too but her daddy came which is an amazment in it of itself.
saturday came and it was pouring but it was so nice and warm with cool raindrops, my only complaint was the wind. it was too windy. but i needed to get out of my house so i saw lora online and asked if she wanted to go to the mall before marks party. so we went walked around and i bought some cassettes for my car (i also bought some in freehold) one of them being new kids on the block...hahaha absolutely splendid!
lora and i picked up eri and went to marks house for his birthday. we were the first ones there after alexis. and it was just us for a while but once ppl started coming it was wonderful. and it was good to see people i haven't seen in a while. totally forgetting it was daylights saving we didn't leave until 4.15 which i dropped off eri and lora. i got back to my house it was cloe to 4.45 where i ran inside packed up my shit and drove to 7-11 for coffee.
the coffee was so gross and tasted burnt, never again x.x
so i'm getting ready for 3.5 hours of sleep then 8 hours of work.....hahahahaha
now the car trip
i get down route 1 south and they blocked off the whole road, not even like close to edison i had driven like 20 mins so i drive the 10 mins back to route 130 and take that eventually i get on the turnpike and get off at route 1 in pennsy.
everything is going fine now until i get to 76 i still haven't figured which way i have to go to get on my exit straight from route 1 south. so i get on 76 east and i get on already passing the exit so i have to make a u-turn. no problem i'm use to this. only 10 mins out of my way.
i make the u turn and get off the exit i need to get off now getting off the next exit to lincoln drive there is a cop car blocking the road. lincoln drive probably had a mudslide...again.. fuck! i have no idea of anyother way to get to where i fucking need to be...this sucks...
so i take kelly drive remembering we took it to a museum last year... thank god for museum trips! 5 mins down the road....barracaded!! FUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!
so i turn onto a road having no idea where the fuck im going . i find myself to be on ridge road!! o0o!! this is ok! i took this with erin once to the same musuem! so i follow it up hoping i remember how we got there this way. and i do remember things! yay!! always a plus!!!
yeah i kept driving hoping to remember how to get somewhere....wasn't working so i deced to stay on this road, its pretty major, so it has to connect up with another road i know, ....right?
and...
it does!! oh excitement!! i see chemical road!! i just didn't know what way i had to turn onto it.. so i guessed and i guessed right!! i saw stores i knew!! ones i've been too!! oh good day!!
driving the way i know i get stuck behind a camaro doing the speed limit jesus christ atleast do 5 over!!
eventually he turns and i'm cruising along at 40 turn down the road to get to stenton...and BAM!!
there is a car horizontally across both lanes
this is a one lane road and this car was blocking up both lanes but there was a tow truck there already hitching the guy on... at this point i just scream... on the top of my lungs twice.. talk about aggrivation 5-10 mins later the car was moved and then there was nothing blocking my way from here to the apt, excitement
but i got a good parking spot!!
