I'm at All-State!

This has been the best musical experience in my life. That includes singing in Carnegie Hall.

Because the location isn't worth a damn if the group you're with isn't 100% commited to what they're doing. And that's what's happening here. It's friggin' unbelievable. We made the recording today, it should be hardcore. (Because choir music is, of course.)

So I'm sitting in the commons of Sexton Hall nursing a strawberry-kiwi energy drink and paging through a Jon Stewart book (Recently purchased here, the store sold it for 8 bucks cheaper than normal. Probably trying to get rid of heathen books.)

So Men's Choir is awesome, even though it's a sausage-fest. (But some of the ladies are really quite fine) Bruce Phelps is our director, which frightened me at first, considering he wrote our sight-singing books, but he's a really cool guy.

And there's a monastery on campus. Which means there's monks! So Kristin and I decided to play a game, and see how many monks we can see. I am currently sitting pretty on 12, herself on 8.

And yeah, and BASS BOY is here. Our nefarious nemesis from New York! I had to call Charlie and Tony as soon as I found out. He's still a cocky bastard. He's still gross looking. He still sings weird. BUT WE FOUND OUT NEW THINGS! He likes to pretend he's conducting when he's sitting by himself! He likes to do ballet moves while he's walking! His names is Andrew Steingard (Guessing on the last name, it is Andrew though, I'll double check before I leave, he rooms next to me.) I have yet to hear "PAUL OAKLEY!" being cried out in the night, but I have not given up hope.

Stupid Bass Boy. I hate him. I will take him out if I get the chance. If not, there's always the Feb. concert...
