I LOVED all the Caverns of Time instances, because they're all so lore-heavy :) And I have a soft spot for Kael'Thas, though I've never stepped foot in Magister's Terrace or Sunwell Plateau *sigh*

I've never been much of a gamer; I never really got into console games. That's the beauty of WoW - anyone can play it, with a large learning curve so that inexperienced gamers (like myself) can learn to be just as good as more of the "hard core" type :P (Man, I have a knack for making myself sound really lame in the gaming world, lol)

I agree, desperation. I remember Blizzard saying "ABSOLUTELY NOT" to PvE->PvP server transfers. But, they did it! And now they're doing the cross-faction transfer (though you have to change races while doing it, grr). Perhaps they'll also say yes to a neutral faction. THAT would be awesome! I'd so play a panderan, 'cause I'm that much of a dork! *laughs* A lot of people are quitting the game during this ZOMGArthas! patch and they still haven't broken him out yet. I don't think Blizzard was prepared for that. My speculation is that the end of WoW (as in being a dead game that hardly anyone plays anymore) will come when Starcraft II comes out (no loss for Blizzard, though - they'd still be raking in the dough!)

Oh man, Magister's Terrace... It was insane for a normal instance! Heroic was....oh man, that was just messed up. I heard they nerfed it pretty hard after I played it, but I never went back. Most people lost the want to run the place after wiping so many times. Blah. I did want to see Sunwell Plateau, but I think I'd be happier just reading up on things since any lore contained within an instance can't be read since players just want to clear the place before things respawn. Keeping bits of lore in a constantly respawning instance... I never saw the smarts in that.

Anyone can play console games, too, at least those made for everyone to enjoy. If you've not yet played a Nintendo Wii, you're missing out. Plus, I get tired of using the mouse and keyboard to play while trying to type, all while being ganked by stupid players...

Interesting... Seems the friends I have that still play are under the impression WoW is doing really well. Fun as WoW is, it really is nothing without other players, and if those players stop playing, the game's not anything special at all. The one thing I hate about MMOs is that they do require other people to actually be actively playing. I doubt WoW will be around a decade from now, for instance, but if I were to pick up a classic game like A Link to the Past, there would be nothing to stop me from enjoying the game.

(And the Pandaren are awesome!)
