My anime guilty pleasure: action shojo!
Thanks to YouTube, I'm currently addicted to Princess Tutu. Like many shojo series, it's got a ditzy/clutsy girl fumbling with her silly life by day, a kick-butt super-heroine in a flashy costume by night, complete with the sparkly transformation sequence in every episode and plenty of panty shots for the boys! Granted, in Tutu, the heroine fights with ballerina moves XP (all that twirling makes me dizzy sometimes, lol) And some of the people are animals (although Neko-sensei constantly using marriage as a threat is starting to get old). It's so very corny, but so very addicting! 'Tis kewl! *grins* Am resisting the urge to watch an episode during work.
Went camping over the 3-day weekend. It was good to relax and take our minds off things. Too bad the camping trip, and the money to do it, couldn't last forever. The fact that husband lost his job doesn't help. Meh.
And because I had no internet access for the entire weekend, can anyone fill me in on a little of this supposed IY fandom wank that's flying around? I'm completely clueless, and will be spending every ounce of my free time after work catching up on shikon_awards judging (when I'd much rather spend it watching corny, redundant anime, lol).
