(no subject)
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiits been a while. I deactivated my facebook, so I'm defeating the purpose by going on LJ right now. I realize the last "public entry" I made here was a year ago during finals week. Right now I'm in the thick of finals. And by that I mean, I haven't even studied today. I took an early morning test, wrestled with financial aid stuff, and I'm thinking about eating lunch. Tomorrow I have juries and a psychology test, which essentially concludes academia for the year. Next semester I'm studying abroad in Germany. So that's neat.
Its interesting reading back in this journal. Yesterday I was reflecting on how everyone says, "college changes you." I'm beginning to understand (from experience) the transformation "they" speak of.
Its been a trip, let me tell you. I'm only half done.
A few things I have learned:
- how to be more honest with myself about how I feel
- warning signs that show that a guy is a big asshole
- church is not worth it unless you plug into community there
- minimalist music is really cool
Yeah, so get involved in people's lives, and stay away from assholes.
And take time to feel.
