Okay so once again I have been slacking on this LJ thing despite an LJ nudge from a certain someone ages ago. Sorry!
This semester at school has been pretty much the worst ever. I'm taking calculus 1, physics 1, Circuit analysis 2, and some dumb history of industrial revolution class. The last 2 are easy, but I've been struggling in calculus and physics. In physics, I got a 78 on the midterm, which is not awful. But on my calculus midterm.... I got a 32... Then they said that everyone did horrible, with a class average of 50 so they gave some take home quiz that raised your grade by 15 points. Still a pretty damn horrible grade even with that. Thankfully in this class there are 3 midterm and your lowest grade is dropped; so if I do way way better on the other 2 then I'll be okay. Speaking of which, today was the second midterm, which I feel I may have aced! Woot!
Boring school stuff aside; some cool crap has been going on in my life that some people might be surprised by considering how huge a dork I am. This dork actually has a girlfriend! Her name is Melinda and she's great. We've been dating for almost 4 months, and I think it's been about 2 and a half months since I asked her if she'd be my girlfriend and she said yes. Yay! Unfortunately we don't get to see each other all the time because she goes to school down in Delaware, but she comes back up for weekends frequently and usually spends a whole day with me when she come up. The longest we've been apart was like 3 weeks, which sucks but is not horrible. Anyway, I could gush about her for a while, and probably will when I get a chance, but for now I have half finished physics homework due in an hour, so it will have to wait.
