I saw the Doom movie over the weekend. Meh; it was....alright I guess.
It sucks how they deviated from the story of the game so much. Aside from the whole "space marines fighting zombies on Mars" thing, the story really had nothing to do with the game. The worst is how they made the zombies a result of genetic experimentation; as opposed to the game where experimental portal technology accidentally opens the gates to Hell. This movie could have been so much cooler if they had stuck with that plot. I guess it's just another example of censorship in this country. Movie studios are too scared to put out something that could be seen as offensive to the religious nuts.
It also sucked that they didn't include any other monsters but zombies. How freaking awesome would it be to have a movie with monsters like the Cyberdemon from the game? (50 foot tall freaky mutated half cyborg creature with rocket launchers for arms)
