I met up with one of my newish friends, Lissa, for lunch today. Was a very nice way to break up the work week with some actual human interaction for a change. And thus concludes chapter 364 of "Richard befriends cute, smart, sweet, interesting, funny girls who already have boyfriends"
Anyway, besides those few couple hours I have been feeling kind of bummed out lately. I seriously need some more reliable, considerate people in my life. I've just been so frustrated with my inability to put together any kind of social life whatsoever. I fail to understand people who are so fickle they cannot commit to anything; and I'm very tired of always feeling like the one begging for table scraps. It would be nice for once if someone else would take the initiative and think "Hmmmm..I wonder what that nice Richard kid is up to...Maybe I'll give him a call and see if we can get together." Meh!
