In other news, I finally got a Comcast technician to come out to my house after a month of my "high speed" cable internet running like shit.

You see, these days it is the industry standard to always assume the customer is a complete moron. If I've reached the point of calling tech support because my connection has been down for a week; it can't possibly be something wrong with the service. It's my own dumb fault. "Run an antivirus and defragment your hard drive" they will say. Shut the hell up!

Anyway, so I finally get someone out to the house and stays for a grand total of 3 minutes only to say that he can't handle this problem, and a maintenance crew should be out in the next week.

Fast forward 2 weeks, and a call to tech support reveals they know nothing about said maintenance crew appointment. Another guy gets dispatched to come here the following week. This guy notices that previos guy did nothing he was supposed to; and puts up a new drop box, talking shit about the previous guys work the whole time. Checking our signal, he finds that it is so screwed up they're going to have to bring in a whjole team and do some major crap with my whole block. So my crap is still screwed up. Arrrgghh!
