Prompt 3: And just a picture of Narvin would be nice! I know that's not terribly specific but there's so few Gallifrey fanart and even fewer Narvin fanart. ... That aren't mine, I mean. /cough It can be anything, though if the creative juices aren't pumping, then a straight up portrait would be just fine too! :D
Notes: There was also a rad prompt for noir shenanigans that I tried and tried for and that eventually got put aside alas. But that allowed me to realise that all I really ever wanted from life was a reason to draw Narvin being an enormous dork so.... thank you oxydised_moron! Which I guess is also fair warning - under the cut Narvin is being an enormous dork? A very, horribly, OOC dork but ... there you go. Also I still seem to draw him quite young which is a carryover from the art for neveralarch but I have reconciled myself to this because Narvin is the butt of all the universe's jokes and he struggles through anyway so one more burden will be fine.

This is a 'make-no-sense' bonus because the one where Narvin was imitating all the Bond poses (LOOK HIS FOUNDER DOES IT, IT'S LIKE, PATRIOTIC OR SOMETHING) wasn't working. And secretly I like the idea of young!technician!Narvin being a massive tech-geek and wanting to play with new toys and also I didn't know what his robes would look like then I just knew dressing him up in Drax's oversized weird silver thing would be mean. And whilst it's fun to be mean to Narvin there is, weirdly, such a thing as too mean. So. Engineer/Tech Corps, yes, hasn't-yet-signed-on-to-the-CIA, yes. Sticking the seal of Rassilon on everything as a method to legitimise it? Triple yes. Also is the dude corrupting Narvin secretly Vansell? Yes. Yes it is. I don't even care what canon says guys. Vansell is awesome and should be everywhere in everything. And I only just noticed the typo le sigh. One day I will have photoshop again and these things will not be a hassle. Um. Until then, Narvin is an enormous dork with no scruples. So um. oxydised_moron I hope you enjoy?
