Aha, more being an upgrade from none? (Actually is there this viddery out there? Considering the popularity of Romana/Four, one would think surely there must.) And wait fic what oh god this I must read. You must finish. By which I mean ... no pressure?

Also this fest. Fffff this fest with these cool people it must happen (really I just want an excuse to do more Brax art) where's it being hosted? Who's running it? What is the deeeeaaall? ....OK it's just struck me that you .. probably don't know so I'm just .. going to go back to sketching Brax onna jetski. But still I heartily throw my support behind it! ...And if I can get a hold of Leela eps I might just make this vid goddamnit such a bad idea. You are a filthy enabler Jane. Well...if you want to read Gallifrey Fic What I Have Written, there are four of them, actually, so far. Suddenly. As of yesterday, officially, 'cause I wrote it for Yuletide in disgusting, staggering quantity, and here it is. And the icons are here. And you are sweet :)

I think the fest was still in the "let's throw around ideas wouldn't it be cool if!" phase when I happened on the comment thread and went "!" So maybe it was just one of those ideas. I would totally say "I WILL MAKE THIS HAPPEN" except that I am very, very, very deeply shit at making things happen when they involve herding other people. So I'm just going to go on mentioning it to everyone I think might be interested, and then maybe I'll go back to aralias and say "Look at all these people and were you serious about that really?"

True, and much of it does seem to be somewhat ... odd. In terms of musical choices. Although I have found good songs this way, ngl.

Also ffffff. Those icons. So gorgeous. So awesome. Also come on, Leela is so easy to ship with everyone. Where's the awkward 'dancing girl who's going to stab you' Square One fic? Where's all the Brax fic? That just. But they are delightful and I will read fic later when I'm not going to die of sleep dep but. The fact that these exist in the world. This fact pleases me. You are deeply, deeply awesome.

Yeeah organising people. Hard times. But collating data and running and reporting and nudging til things are set in motion? I for one support this endeavour!

Where IS the awkward stabby dancing girl fic?? WHERE IS THE SPIRIT FEMMESLASH? I mean, everybody says that it's the femmeslashiest thing that ever femmeslashed, and nobody bothers to actually WRITE it. It's firmly on the list of fic-I-wish-I-had-a-bunny-for-and-also-50-more-hours-in-a-day-to-write. Leela/Brax is a place where I feel that the show itself drops the ball; I can't remember a single scene that's just the two of them interacting one-on-one, and I think they could be really fascinating together. It's just so hard to know what Brax actually thinks about ANYBODY, mystery wrapped in an enigma that he is.

Ooohh yes. Wait there isn't that?? I ... huh. I just sort of assumed there would be I mean it's ... it's just there isn't it? Maybe that's why people haven't written it though? Because it's so obvious they don't feel the need to fill the gaps? But ... it would still be cool to read fic that fills the gaps.

And oh oh oh no Season Two! Doesn't she go seek him out to - I think maybe ask about Andred? Or is it Season One, before she finds the archive biodata scrolls? THERE IS A SCENE. AT LEAST ONE. And she's all I trust you Brax, even though maybe I shouldn't, and he is all, 'awwwww.' Wait maybe Season One, before Romana gets all 'soooo you and your brother are a bit more alike than you like to pretend, y/y?' I swear I didn't hallucinate this. Although in retrospect even that's not much.

*sigh* Now I have to go relisten to the whole series, Alex, just to find this alleged bit of Leela and Brax. Which makes me say "damn" in much the same way, where it really means "listen to me secretly cackling with glee." THAT kind of "damn."
