Here is my recipe for pesto:
4 lg garlic cloves
1 cup grated parmesano reggiano (or, if you prefer plain parmesan)
2 cups fresh basil
1/4 cup of pine nuts
1 cup of olive oil
Mince the garlic and basil in food processor*. Add the cheese and pine nuts, pulse processor about 8-10 times. Add olive oil while machine is running and mix until well blended. Toss onto warm pasta!
*A blender is coo', too. We're not snobs, here.
