As I was just now reading through my friends page, I noticed Gabe's last entry that said It's October-- when did this happen? GOOOD point!! Where is time going? My midterms start next week-- weird.
I haven't been on LJ in a shiton amount of time, but I figure it's best to stop by once in a while.
Things are going... I wouldn't describe them as well, but I wouldn't describe them as not well either so... they're just going....
We have our first debate tourney in two weeks. It's at the University of Alabama. I know, since when is there debate in AL? No, not even that, since when did anyone care about debate in AL? It already feels like a bad idea; however, the boyfriend and some other people from Harbor Docks are in Tuscaloosa so we'll get to see them-- which will be nice.
The OWC debate used to consist of me, Nia and Lauren. Recently, Nia and I coaxed our friends from Harbor Docks Jess and Mike to join, because they're entertaining and it's nice to make money going to school. They're having a good time... kinda... and i'm really glad they decided to join.
Remember in high school how the goal of forensics was to be creative and original? Not in college. Or at least, not to us. Nia and I are just kind of collecting hand-me-down peices because it's just not worth the effort. Forensics just isn't the same. Infact, I wouldn't do it if it wasn't for the money.
