Yaay! Wii!
Garrett and I signed up for that Amazon.com shopping offer where, if you win, you are reserved to purchase either two versions of the Playstation 3 or a Nintendo Wii. We both signed up for the Nintendo Wii and as luck would have it, I won one! I can't wait! I'm going to be all Nintendo-ed out this Christmas, but that's fine with me!
I managed to get all my Christmas shopping done yesterday. I always wait until the last minute to do these things and then I use the excuse: "I'm a guy."
I'm tired of the Internet. For as much as I love computers and all the cool stuff you can do with them, I have become increasingly irritated by everyone's dependency on them. Crap like MySpace and Facebook are just horrible devices for people to collect fake friends and pretend their lives are better than they actually are.
So far I'm loving this intersession. Not having to be in Frostburg for classes is a huge and much needed break for me.
I was talking to someone about publishing journals. Now that is an interesting idea. She said it was awesome to look back and read through her entries because she could see how much she had changed. I've gone back and read old journal entries of mine before. If I took the time, I'm sure I could find some interesting things that have changed since I started this thing. One thing that has definitely changed is my writing.
It's time to stand up and take back what's mine.
