Alright, I'm a little ... hmmm... confused? Facing a dilemma? But it's not a dilemma because there really aren't any negative consequences. Anyhow, tell me what you think. So I have to do this internship this summer, and of course I've been procrastinating. But today I worked on my resume all day and sent out "cold emails" to NARAL and the YWCA expressing my interest in an internship. I sent the one to the CEO of the YWCA (which seemed a little bold to me, but they said we should go right to the top) at like 2pm. She already wrote me back! she said there are two possible internships this summer, one dealing with an after-school program and the other with their housing program. So here's the part that sucks. She also said it would most likely be unpaid. Which really, I knew was going to be the case. So here's my deal, do I keep looking for something that might be paid, or do I pursue this YWCA internship which is what I'm really interested in and think I would be totally stoked about. Never mind that it could probably lead to a job (or at least a good reference) when I graduate.
I hate money!
