Had a great time, seems so long ago now though. Scott and I headed to Northern Ireland for a relaxing hideaway Christmas just the two of us in a cottage in County Antrim up near the Giant's Causeway. Just what the doctor ordered! We read, I knitted, we drove around a bit. Saw the Giant's Causeway, Derry and lots of amazing Irish scenery. Everything was so green, like every blade of grass has been coloured in with a marker pen.
Belfast Docks, no idea what kind of bird though!
Our cottage - the Drum Gatelodge which is owned by the Irish Landmark Trust
Potatoes, anyone?
The road away from our cottage to the main house on the property

Statue of Queen Victoria. She has several fingers missing due to multiple bomb blasts.
Belfast mural dedicated to the taxi drivers who died during the Troubles.
Funny money from the Ulster Bank
Dublin: Kilmainham Jail. A really interesting place where many of Ireland's political prisoners were held.
Scott's Guinness from the Guinness Store House. The place smelled like Vegemite on toast!
And so there you have it. A photographic tour of our holiday of Northern Ireland and Dublin.
