(no subject)
Well my homepage says I haven't updated in 15 weeks, so I figured I'd change that.
Since I've moved home things have been fantastic. I'm enjoying San Diego so much and I appreciate it so much more now. I'm kind of jealous of everyone that's moving out and that has their own place with friends, but for now I'm happy just being at home and having mom and dad to take care of me for awhile.
I started working at the Lodge at Torrey Pines which is a ridiculously nice hotel. Old white guys are regularly seen with super young, super hot girls but it ain't no thang. The cheapest rooms go for like $400 a night and the nicest room is $6000 a night. Needless to say, I deal with a lot of rich assholes but a lot of nice rich people too. So that has been interesting. Plus today I had a training on a product we sell in the spa and the lady handed me a bottle of reparative toning lotion that normally sells for like 80 bucks. Fo free. Granted, the fact that I'm not 60 years old makes the lotion kind of not really applicable to me, but it's still a perk.
I just started school yesterday and...ugh. It's school. Organic chem and bio will probably suck, but my sociology class seems interesting plus Ben is in my class so it'll be fun I think. I spent almost 400 bucks on books yesterday and it's kind of upsetting.
In other news...
I had laser eye surgery and am no longer blind! It's hard driving at night and the sun kills my eyes, but other than that I feel like a new woman.
Ben and I also celebrated our one year about a month ago...so that's exciting. Who would have known that we would make it through two semesters of being 450 miles away from each other? Who would have known that we would get together at all? Whatever, it's cool. He rocks my world and I couldnt be happier that we're still together.
Anyway...this was kind of boring so I'll probably wrap it up.
I just feel like I have this dilemma between tumblr and livejournal...I feel like using both of them is repetitive.
We'll see.
Also, I love TI. His new song AND the one with Rihanna.
I want a tattoo.
