Tech: This never happens

Wow. I managed to crash X. I can't remember the last time that happened - if ever....

Here it is for future reference... The symptoms were that I was watching a video off a website and suddenly the screen went blank and I got the normal login screen again... This would only happen if X had died, and sure enough...

I am guessing that this is a symptom of X crashing, and not the cause...
