School has become my life
Gainesville doesn't really have the scene you'd expect if you grew up the way I did
Kind of upsetting sometimes, but if it was different I doubt I'd even really have the time to enjoy it
Honestly, the thing missing the most... a good DIY punk scene
what happened to being 15 and being at a house show
that feeling is so refreshing, and I haven't felt it in years
In some ways... Tallahassee has it going a little better
because here the old guys seem to have gotten a little stuck up
they got to used to playing with big names and having guarantees
how about a show for the fuck of it. no money involved. no donations. no nothing
fuck benefits, fuck money. lets have a BBQ at 1 and music at 6. what happened to the hang outs
that's the one thing i miss about hanging out with the All4Nuthin crew
punk is a family thing. i think we have all forgotten that. it's not even just about music
next post I'm going to try and describe my upcoming thesis
