I will be home for Christmas.

Dec 04, 2006 05:03

So.....it's 4:53 am....and I can't sleep, which is really a pain, because I worked so hard this weekend to make sure I didn't spend tonight pulling an all-nighter, and and now I can't take advantage of my extra hours of sleep.
I think it's mostly because I'm so bloody excited yes to be going home on Wednesday (for the first time since Thanksgiving!), but moreso for the Christmas Break...still a long-ish time away...but I just miss everything to do with my home. My friends, my room, my mom, my town...even the friggin' nightly arguments!
And why is it that you don't realize how great you had it until later on when you've been overcome by an episode of nostalgia? I totally didn't appreciate what I had...I mean that in more ways than one.

On a lighter note, the weather outside it's pretty phenominal. I'll admit right now that I have a slight obsession with everything to do with Christmas. I have a XMAS playlist on my ipod with like 90 songs...somehow, I just don't get tired of listening to the 9th version of "I'll be Home for Christmas". Annndd I love snow! And even cold weather...I find it refreshing! Except when I don't have gloves or a hat on :S frost bite is baddd news. But right now im looking outside and it's making me sooooo warm and fuzzy inside. I'm also officially jealous of Bailey and Judy's sweet Christmas lights...I sat on their floor staring up at them for god knows how long tonight...they're just so relaxing!

Anyway, I think that's enough babble. I think I'll take another crack at sleeping.

Sincerely,

Eagerly Anticipating Christmas. (aka. Alex)

I think this could be our second chance. I promise I won't fuck it up this time. You have to know by now that this has been twelve years in the making. It has "fate" written all over it.
