Today was a productive day!!! I realized this morning exaclty how much I have to do for school in the next weeks, and that kinda got me worked up. I can't complain about classes becuase I'm in Germany and classes haven't been difficult at all, but I realized that with the play and coming back to the States at the end of July, I have to turn in almost everything during the first week of July! Oops! Well, I got a CD today from a professor with an interview of a woman speaking Pennsylvania German, and I just have to listen to that and write about where I notice the influence of English on her German, and that's all I have to do for that class. I am goign to end up taking the test for the history class that Sushi and I really didn't go to. The professor is letting us just take an oral exam for 20 minutes (together...so onnly like 10 minutes each) and she's letting us chose a topic beforehand. I figured that if I screw it up, I can just not give my "certificate" to my coordinator, and then nobody at BSU will know about it at all. I don't need the class either, but it'd be nice to have a "back-up grade" in case other classes don't turn out well. I then have two papers to write with Sushi and turn in within 2 weeks, and one final exam. I think that's all, but when I think that I'll be spending everynight next week working on the play, then that entire weekend rehearsing more, and then putting on the show every night the week of the 11th, it seems like I don't have much time.
Alright, that was enough time complaining about school. The play is going well, I guess. It should be alot better once we spend all next week working on it. I met with Diana today and we just sat outside and went over the second act again and again until we got it right (she and I are the only two characters to be in that act.)
I got to talk to my mom today for quite a while! I used to talk to each of my parents about once a week, but now it's more like once a month, and I only get to talk to my dad if I call him. Oh well... .
This past weekend was amazing...check out the pics on my yahoo photo album. It's in the folder called "Kieler Woche." I spend all day Thrusday and Friday on the beach, and then Friday night and all day Saturday in the city at the big festival. It was alot of fun...Sushi and I really wanted to go bungee jumping, but it cost 80 euros to go alone, and still 100 euros to do a tandem jump...too much money for me now. Oh, I now have a really pretty mark of my hand on my back...apparently I'm retarded and somehow ended up getting sunblock on my back only in the form on my fingers, so I have a nice tan on my back with one white hand over my right shoulder. I'm not taking a picture of it, so don't even ask. I'm working on getting rid of it by going out every morning now and sitting in the sun for a while outside where I live.
Alright, this is a really pointless update, and I doubt that anybody is going to read it, so I'm goign to head off to visit some people at the Theatertage tent. See you in about a month!
