I went to church for the first time in like forever and surprisingly enough I almost passed out. I don't know whether I was just hungry, tired, or anemic, but I literally felt all my limbs shaking. It was really scary.
I was with my whole family and in this church you have to stand... a lot. I was getting pretty weak and I turned to my mom and asked if I could sit, but apparently I looked like I was two breaths away from either passing out or throwing up so she rushed me to the bathrooms. I hadn't been feeling great at all this morning and it just got worse we finally go to the church, but I hadn't realized that my face had completely paled to the point of turning gray. That was unsettling. I think it scared my mom a little bit too.
So after the cramps and the shakes and the nausea and the numbing of my face and limbs went away we returned to the chapel just in time for the hour and a half long mass to end. I hadn't felt that absolutely horrid since the last time I had the stomach flu... or mono. I felt really bad too because there was a special ceremony at the end to bless my sister and her husband's marriage and I missed most of it. It was also really embarrassing to rush out of the church looking like I was about face-plant at any given moment. God, that was horrible!
But the good news is I felt much better once we got to my sister's house for lunch and was stuffed with hamburger, salad, and stuffed jalapenos. Although, I think that had to be on my top ten worst embarrassing public displays of sickness ever. Well, at least I can be thankful I wasn't rushed to the hospital after I fainted. Now that would have been the most embarrassing thing ever.
