Supernatural and Castle
I just watched episode 6, "Demons", of season 4 of Castle and was it just me or was the entire thing screaming for a Supernatural/Castle crossover?
The episode was about a freaking ghost hunter getting killed in a supposedly haunted house! It had every thing supernatural and creepy including slamming doors, flickering lights, suddenly fuzzing out cameras, a long and bloody history for the scene of the crime. And that's not the best part.
The crowning jewel that had me bouncing in my seat with the sheer serendipitous of it was the bad guy. A cop played by non other than Fredric Lehne, who everyone that watches SPN would know played Azazel AKA The Yellow Eyed Demon. Of course there's more. At the end of the episode it's mentioned that "he said a demon made him do it". No joke people, seriously, they said demon.
All I'm thinking from the very beginning of the episode to the end was, if there isn't an SPN reference in here somewhere, there at least needs to be a crossover fic, because I was just waiting for Beckett to bust in the old haunted house and arrest Sam and Dean for trespassing at a crime scene with their ghetto EMF reader and their shotguns full of rock salt. Come on! It's perfect!
I'm just giddy with the need for this fic and the awesomeness that is Castle and Supernatural separate and combined. I need to not be the only one that is completely squeeing over this semi crossover!
