so about 2 weeks ago (i think?) our computer broke.
zane and i have come to the conclusion that computers must have self destruct capabilities that are set off when we are broke/saving money.
we took it to futureshop and they checked out what was wrong with it for $40 and then said the hard drive was defective and they would replace it for around $200. we decided to just get a new computer, because laptops become outdated so quickly it never seems worth it to put a few hundred dollars into fixing one. anyway we bought a 17" amamzing beautiful new laptop for only $750 and took the "defective" one home deciding that maybe in the future we would try to fix it for cheaper to have a backup computer.
we get home, set up the new laptop, and zane says " hey let's turn on the old one, just to see what happens..." and it works. perfectly.
so now we have 2 computers, and we will probably never trust a future shop technican again.
