(no subject)
I got up early to take a run, I ran my 4 miles and came home tired and sweating and wanting breakfast. Normally when I walk through the door the smell of something good cooking is in the air, but not this morning. I walked in and the house was quiet, I looked around and no one was to be seen. I tipped toed into the bedroom to find my pregnant lover and all our animals asleep around her. BK on her stomach, Shadow laying on top of her head and both Rex and Phoebe at her feet. I think the animals look at her as Queen, I know she's my queen and I'm glad she's also theirs.
There's something about walking into the house when you're use to it being full of movement and sound that's scary as shit when you walk in and it's so very quiet. I think I lost a few years when I opened that front door, but I gained them back again once I saw that beautiful woman laying in our bed. One strong emotion to another, the rollercoaster of life, it's amazing isn't it?
The heat wave is Los Angeles is now over, still blue sky's and an oh so lovely breeze. I think this evening I'll take a walk and drag Miss Tyler out with me. Maybe we'll walk down for some ice-cream, mmmm ice-cream sounds really good right now. Mint Chocolate Chip for her and who knows what kind for me.
I've been thinking of having a Halloween Party. I'll keep you all updated on that.
We set a date, it's in stone now. Dec, 4th New Zealand.
