It's been a while since I've updated, and lots of stuff has been going on.
My World of Darkness game is currently in a bit of a stall as I try to adapt scenes I'd intended to do online to make them more playable in a tabletop setting. The game's online counterpart has 2 threads up and running, with a possible third whenever I get around to it / get ScoutWizard to join.
I started collecting a couple new shows: Madlax, Kannazuki no Miko, and Samurai Champloo. Madlax and KnM i picked up mainly 'cause they're rather Yuri heavy. (KnM moreso than Madlax) and both of them are rather enjoyable. Champloo I've been meaning to get for a while, since Soba got me into it watching it on Adult Swim.
Other than that, I saw X-men 3 and finally finished Final Fantasy X
X-men I liked overall, despite cursing at the screen when Beast Cheap-shotted Magneto towards the end. The main problem with the film though, is it seemed a bit rushed to me. The way the end was set up, it seemed they wanted to give Phoenix more pull in the plot than Magneto, but I just wasn't really feeling it. Also I have a bit of a problem with them cheapening Phoenix down to being just a "split personality" inadvertently created by Xavier. Also there was no mention of Juggernaut being Prof. X's half brother, like he was supposed to be. Juggernaut, as well as the rest of the new Brotherhood mutants (Calisto, Spike, Arklyte(sp?), and Psylocke) kicked serious ass though, even if most of them went out like bitches.
On to FFX. The ending was fairly predictable but well done. For all the freaky hype it got, the final battle against your Aeons and Yu Yevon was one of the easiest boss fights I've ever fought. Although that could be affected by me actually going far out of my way to obtain the Ultimate weapons for every character (Lulu's and Yuna's in particular rock). I was kinda sad to see Auron go but kinda figured he would. As for Tidus, see ya in X-2 (maybe)
So that being said, I've started up Final Fantasy X-2, and also restarted my Final Fantasy VII game after some prodding. It's kinda funny to go from seeing the FF7 characters in Advent Children to seeing thier little lego looking models in most of the game.
I think that's about all for now. More as I feel like it
