Yay for older games! I, too, play older ones like Alpha Centauri; even had to install an extra software to get it to run on 2K Windows... If I play, that is; it's rare enough.

...The only thing I remember of Kuja is him standing half-naked in a dark bedroom and basically saying to one of the main characters: "You're my prisoner! Your friends will all die and there's nothing you can do against it! Unless you do me a little... favor. ♥"
The scene was truly hilarious. My reaction was probably the same as Gabranth's, but yours is better. xD
I don't know how many tries I needed the first time. xD The second time I played the game I succeded at the second or third attempt. But scary indeed.

That made me SO SAD. Poor kid. I don't think he realized how twisted his brother was going to become, or that he'd have to die.
Play it for Zell, play it for Irvine, play it for Selphie, and while you're at it, play it because Quistis has a whip and therefore is a source of a great deal of "hot for teacher" fanfiction. And play it for Laguna, because he's obnoxious in that insanely cute way that makes me want to hug him while punching him. ...And Kiros, because he's hot.
...And the plot's okay, too.
I think they're all topless, too. Now, I understand that working out causes your breasts to all but vanish, but I think that's pushing it just a bit. I don't think there are any women there. XD

But yes, there was definitely a "I'm going to kill your friends if you don't do me a little favor. >3" moment. And yeah, I was thinking "O.O" at first, and then he's all "I want you go to to this place, and bring me back this thing," to which my response was, "Damn."
I hated, without regret for said hatred, the Demon Wall. I did not fight it the first time I encountered it, and it was hard as hell the second. Upon beating it, I threw myself a small party, and swore never to speak of it again.

I really can't remember much of FFIX, but that image was stuck in my head, so it's the first thing, when I hear "Kuja". But I have a Kuja!icon. :D A study? Oh. Well. It was a while ago. xD There's not much of the plot I still know... beside the Garnet!angst.
Well, then we might agree on not mentioning the Unspeakable? It's not without reason I once saw a the-bad-guys-won-AU with the premise, that it, the Unspeakable, had eaten the main group. *g*

I think Larsa just thought Vayne would be defeated, but never actually thought he'd have to die. u.u I kinna just want to hug them both, even though Vayne probably wouldn't enjoy it. Er.
Rinoa is what made the game go sour for me, but I do know people who like her (they're nuts, but they're there.), so who knows? You might like her. :3
