Yessss. */Crowley* :D

Solidorcest is just a beautiful thing, in and of itself. I'm not big on incest in any other fandom (except for, perhaps, my own OCs. There's at least one incestuous pairing in there somewhere.), but them? It's just... there. And yes, yes you may be shot with me. ^.^ Can we get Balthier to do the shooting? Maybe Fran? Hm? Hmmmm? If we gotta go, we might as well go out happy.
Ironic: VS and FFT are apparently full of references to each other, which is funny on its own. XD Well, VS at least has a ton of FFT references, but I never played the latter, so I can only go by what my friends have told me. I don't play a lot of games, either. I try to follow the Final Fantasy series, but now that it's moved to the PS3, I'll probably break that off. I don't have the money to get a PS3 for one game. u.u Though, if a new Katamari game comes out for it, I might just change my mind.
THE VIERA-BREEDING. They're all women! Where do they come from? I guess you could say they were born from the Wood, but still, you think there'd be a man in there somewhere. Maybe they're like Amazons - they keep the men for breeding purposes only, and kill 'em off when they're done (run, Balthier, run!).
...Penelo/Ba'Gamnan? Thanks, now I'm curious. I blame thee.
I could be your long lost twin sister... with sparkles. It so happens I have a habit of saying I'm sparkly, so good call there. :3
For me, if I can't love the villain or some random character in there, chances are, I won't enjoy the game. So when Vayne stepped into the scene, my automatic response was, I kid you not, "Holy shit, I hope he's the bad guy." I got my wish! And he has a cute brother, too! Bonus!
Where the Judges are concerned, I'm pretty much... neutral. I don't like 'em, don't really dislike 'em. One character I didn't expect to like nearly as much as I do now, however, is Cid (does he not look like Grissom from CSI? o_O ). I just love it when, in the middle of a fight, he hauls out the big guns - LITERALLY. It cracks me up every time... even if it, um, tends to kill off my party. Every... time.

Yes, it so is. A real pity they have so few scenes togehter (and even so it's there, erm). Larsa's not completely innocent and it would certainly be very interesting to have them interact if the game had ended differently. Someone said once if Vayne had survived the game, there is no way it wouldn't have lead to incest.. In the game itself I always have to imagine offstage subtext, "fluff" and walking on tightrope of the badtouch. *g* They are suggestive on purpose!
Sure. I don't think they'll protest. It's not like it would be something different from what they're doing the whole time. xD
Hm, there is Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (which was really my first encounter with Final Fantasy) and a Final Fantasy Tactics game for the PS, which is (I think?) wider known. One of them is a spin-off of the other or something like that. ...It gets a bit ridiculous. ;) Anyway, I meant the first, you probably the latter, so I wouldn't get the references either.
With you on the matter of the PS3, but I don't run out yet of Final Fantasy games for PS2 (I got a few days ago FFVIII *g*), so I don't have to worry at the moment.
Wasn't it a fandom!theory at one point, that the male equivalents of the Viera are the Garifs (who seem to have no females...) and they're mating at the end of the plain/beginning of the Wood, so they wouldn't have to enter/leave the Wood? Maybe the Viera just want to keep their secret of lesbian porn spawning babies? :D And Balthier really should be terrified of the Amazon!Theory. *laughs*
...Penelo/Ba'Gamnan? Thanks, now I'm curious. I blame thee.
Blame gladly taken! *searchs Memories for Link* ...Damn, she has f-locked it. Well, I've safed it - I could send it to you, if you want.
Oh, that totally proves it! what would a long lost twin sister be without sparkles? ;)
For me, if I can't love the villain or some random character in there, chances are, I won't enjoy the game.
Yes, it's the same for me. In nearly all books/films/games (only very few exceptions) there has to be a character I absolutely love or I won't like it. In most cases these characters happen to be the villains. See, my reaction was just the opposite: "Oh! Character I instant-like! ... He so will be the villain and I'll have to fight him and then he'll die. Whyyyyyy." That is a marvellous bonus, hehe.
My likes/dislikes/interpretations of the Judges are mostly due to fandom, I think. Because if there's a fic, which deals with Vayne/Archadia, it has to include the Judges.
Yes, Cid is all kinds of awesome. (*looks at pictures*... you're right. Oo) I'm still remembering the first time he appeared, gesticulating and talking with invisible!Venat. Gabranth, who was right in the middle of leaving, stopped, turned around and despite the Judge-helm went obviously Bzuh? What. - I laughed so hard. :D
I found him pretty easy to fight, both times. But don't mention the first Demon Wall, the cast is still traumatised.

Y'know how, when Vayne dies, Larsa looks up like "D:"? Yeah, I felt my heart break a little. Poor kid.
I think I meant the latter, too. XD Ooooold games are my thing; I start playing the "new" games years after they've been out. Like I just borrowed FFXII what, two weeks ago? Three, tops. That's probably why my favorite game is over ten years old... but STILL GETS REFERENCES. x3 Like the final boss fight. Oh my god, that made me far too happy.
FFVIII... lost its charm for me somewhere around Disk 3. No spoilers, but it just... Squall pulls a personality 180, and it just never worked for me. I won't say it's not a good game (squee, Zell!), but I've never been able to finish it.
I dunno about the Garif/Viera theory. o.o I just got into the fandom, after all... But you know, I never noticed about the all-male Garifs. Interesting. It's possible. I mean, those masks could be hiding bunny!ears. No WONDER the Viera are so secretive. Poor Balthier. All the time Fran spends acting sweet - IT'S ALL A LIE.
Yeaaaah, I'm gonna bite the bullet and ask for it. XD I'll regret it, I'm sure, but why not.
Generally, the main characters are all so goddamn cookie-cutter-tastic, the villains are a nice change. To date, my favorite villain has been Kuja from FFIX. Just... you have all of these generic characters, and then BAM. Half-naked psychotic narcissist. x3 But yeah, my second thought in regards to Vayne was "...He's going to die, isn't he?"
That... was probably the best scene in the game. Gabranth was definitely going "O_o?" under that helmet. And really, at the time, all I could think was "Oh, good, I thought it was about time to bring in the local nutcase."
Speak not of the Demon Wall. Ever. Ever. That thing was scary enough the first time.

Oh, I approve! I approve totally! ♥ I The world needs more of those. There is only one I can think of right now. I'm trying too, but as I'm writing not in English, I can't offer fic... However, I'd love to read yours, if it gets written. *g*
And I can so relate to Larsas "D:".
Yay for older games! I, too, play older ones like Alpha Centauri; even had to install an extra software to get it to run on 2K Windows... If I play, that is; it's rare enough.
Thanks for not spoilering -- but now I'm scared. *coughs* Well, guess I have to see for myself.
Yes, they are all "Garif-warrior" or something like that. If there hides a female, she does it well.
'kay, I've added you and posted it here, just for you. :D Well, it is Xenokink!doubt-con with a new concept of Bangaa-anatomy, but you asked for it. Hehe.
...The only thing I remember of Kuja is him standing half-naked in a dark bedroom and basically saying to one of the main characters: "You're my prisoner! Your friends will all die and there's nothing you can do against it! Unless you do me a little... favor. ♥"
The scene was truly hilarious. My reaction was probably the same as Gabranth's, but yours is better. xD
I don't know how many tries I needed the first time. xD The second time I played the game I succeded at the second or third attempt. But scary indeed.

That made me SO SAD. Poor kid. I don't think he realized how twisted his brother was going to become, or that he'd have to die.
Play it for Zell, play it for Irvine, play it for Selphie, and while you're at it, play it because Quistis has a whip and therefore is a source of a great deal of "hot for teacher" fanfiction. And play it for Laguna, because he's obnoxious in that insanely cute way that makes me want to hug him while punching him. ...And Kiros, because he's hot.
...And the plot's okay, too.
I think they're all topless, too. Now, I understand that working out causes your breasts to all but vanish, but I think that's pushing it just a bit. I don't think there are any women there. XD
That... that was disturbing, freaky, and yet, I loved it. o.0
...Well, it was a study, not a bedroom, but yeah, that's basically right. And he's always half-naked, so that's not necessarily a shock. But yes, there was definitely a "I'm going to kill your friends if you don't do me a little favor. >3" moment. And yeah, I was thinking "O.O" at first, and then he's all "I want you go to to this place, and bring me back this thing," to which my response was, "Damn."
I hated, without regret for said hatred, the Demon Wall. I did not fight it the first time I encountered it, and it was hard as hell the second. Upon beating it, I threw myself a small party, and swore never to speak of it again.
And then you went and mentioned it.

Oh, that's a good way of looking at it.
One could wonder though, after raising his sword against his brother, why he was so very surprised, that Vayne fell and later, died. Erm. But it was awfully sad. ;_: I know, why I procrastinated that last sequence so long.
Okay, that sounds better. It hopefully makes up for what you told me about Rinoa. If only I had time for it at the moment; RL is so occupying lately.
I've forgotten about them being topless. Hm. Ivalice is still a place full of breeding secrets. :D
Yes, exactly. I always have to think about that, when I imagine a pairing with Penelo. Erm. ;D
...Well, it was a study, not a bedroom, but yeah, that's basically right. And he's always half-naked, so that's not necessarily a shock.
I really can't remember much of FFIX, but that image was stuck in my head, so it's the first thing, when I hear "Kuja". But I have a Kuja!icon. :D A study? Oh. Well. It was a while ago. xD There's not much of the plot I still know... beside the Garnet!angst.
Well, then we might agree on not mentioning the Unspeakable? It's not without reason I once saw a the-bad-guys-won-AU with the premise, that it, the Unspeakable, had eaten the main group. *g*

I think Larsa just thought Vayne would be defeated, but never actually thought he'd have to die. u.u I kinna just want to hug them both, even though Vayne probably wouldn't enjoy it. Er.
Rinoa is what made the game go sour for me, but I do know people who like her (they're nuts, but they're there.), so who knows? You might like her. :3
Oh god, tell me about it - I barely have time to breathe anymore, between school and home and everything. D:
Hey, I have a Kuja!icon, too! Several, actually. ...No, I'm not obsessed, what do you mean? I've got FFIX all but memorized. I've played it so many, many times... some would say it's pathetic, but hey. :3
...If you find said AU again, I wanna read it. o.o
