The Stranger Legacy - Chapter 1.3

Missed an update?

Featuring sims by:
the_caaah

And of course...
Generation Zero Spouse: Zarick by wisperis

Special thank you to...
eversims for sharing her picture editing technique.
selenaq13 for turning eversims photo editing into a PS action and saving me a lot of time.

And we begin the chapter with... Mr. Repo! Ahh, yes... I am terrible with remembering to pay their bills and especially since I don't have the EP that has the action "pay all bills". So, technically I do remember to bring out the bills... I just forget to actually put them back in the mailbox.

And then, of course, I seem to not care anymore as they always take the stupidest things.

(I mean, who takes the curtains and skips the TV?!)

Oh well, let's ignore that and focus on the cuuuuute! Little baby Toby grew up. And this time I did remember to change his hair.

Naturally we jump straight to training the little bugger.

(If we're gonna survive College we better have a lot of cash to keep me entertained!)

When it actually comes to teaching Toby something... Noomi bails immediately and leaves it up to Zarick.

I am still set on getting them into Private School so we invited the headmaster back.

And everything turned out better than expected! 103 points out of 90 with a few minutes to spare.

And Noomi jumped straight to the celebration.

This is one of those rare moments when Ivan isn't skilling.

Apparently he did decide to grow up rather quickly (you'd think just watching them skill would make the time run slower?)

Randomly rolled, naturally.

Then we jump straight back to work. I let Zarick help Ivan with his homework for I do believe it helps them finish it quicker by themselves later if someone teaches them before that?

KACHING!

I added a little walkway and a bubble blower (duuuh, I am playing the Uni EP - aren't I?) and also a room next to Ivan's that is the... fun... room. Sort of.

Since Ivan was a teenager now, he can start to collect the precious Scholarships.
Now, readers, time for a little lesson. There are 14 scholarships and I think you know most of them.

The scholarship Ivan just got, the SimCity Scholar's Grant is probably the easiest of them all. The simteen will get it you they an A- or better in School.

Seven of them are your typical "Reach skill level 8 in..." for all the seven different skills. Which is obviously why I have been training the kids since they were toddlers. This is Cooking.

This is Logic.

And this is Creativity. Basic stuff and do not really require a lot from you. Then there is the Young Entrepreneurs Award that you can get if they have a teen job at level 3.

All of the skill scholarships and the teen job level 3 scholarship is worth 750§.

But the A- or better one is worth 1000§.
There are two more scholarships that are worth that much... The dancing scholarship (they have crazy names too but who's gonna remember them anyway - right?) and the billiard scholarship. It's not difficult to figure out what you have to do... but it is just very, very time consuming.

Then there are three scholarships that give you 1500§, but there are also the most difficult.

The first one you get by... turning your teen into a zombie or vampire.
The second one you get by... making your teen an orphan.
The third one you get by... getting your sim abducted by aliens. (This one is ridiculously easy to get when you get Freetime).

Ivan's LTW. Personally I think this is the easiest one... but that's 'cause I'm baby-crazy.

I know I've been talking a lot about scholarship... but someone might actually learn something. I know that I thought I knew everything about the game but it turns out that I've learned a lot too as I actually tried to do everything.

It turns out that it is time for Toby to grow up now! Crazy-dancer-Jan was of course invited.

I always forget how sims hog the bubble blower. Constantly. As much as possible.

They did drag themselves from it in time to see little Toby grow up. There is a serious lack of pixel_trade sims but that is because it was Noomi that invited people (yeah, she's not very popular).

John Collins (blue shirt) by the_caaah did make an appearance though.

Cute, cute, cute!

Zarick is indeed still awesome. This also marks the first maxed skill of the Legacy!

Kaching-- oh wait...

Noomi: It's all right, hun. I know what would cheer you up...

Yes... loose all your money and make up for it by bringing another spawn into the world. That's not crazy at all!

Of course Noomi was a bit old (gasp!) so we jumped outside to drink some green goo.

Then they went back to baby-making.

Ivan brought home a girl from school. Not just any girl... but a girl with some serious fashion problems.

Sadly, he had to go to work rather quickly.

Noomi: Why is this girl speaking to me?

*clicks Fries With That?*

So much for taking the high road...

Arghhhh. Oh course. This happened a lot during his teenage years.

And now I must leave you with Noomi's pregnant belly! Happy simming, everyone... and late Merry Christmas. I know I had a fantastic weekend (I can't believe how much food I ate!) and I hope you did too. This is Alex over and out.
