Summary: Sunyoung loves it when Jinki breathes.
Sunyoung loves it when Jinki breathes. It doesn’t matter if it’s the harsh panting after a performance, the deep, evenness of sleep, the shakiness of arousal, or even the lack of breath during orgasm-she loves it all.
She loves the feel of his breath against her lips when they kiss-loves the warmth of it, the closeness, the intimacy. She loves the feel of it all over her body if she’s being honest-on her ear, her neck, her breasts, her most intimate places...
She loves to hear the quick breaths between lines as he sings, the loud gulps of air when he laughs too hard, and even the choked gasps when he cries.
She loves to feel him breathe. She loves to feel his chest rise and fall beneath her cheek as he sleeps, to feel his stomach tremble and move beneath her fingertips as she explores his body, to feel his jaw move against her cheek as he tries to take in more air when they make love.
She loves to watch him breathe. She loves to see his shoulders move, to watch his throat work, to see the way his lips part. She really loves it all.
But the thing she loves the most about Jinki when he breathes-the thing that beats out everything else-is that it shows he’s alive. She loves it because it shows that he’s there, that he’s still with her.
And so, when she wraps her arms around him and whispers, “I love it when you breathe, Jinki,” he doesn’t find it odd, doesn’t laugh at her because it sounds silly. Instead he smiles gently, fingertips soft against her cheek as he kisses her, breath warm against her lips when he whispers in return, “I love you too, Sunyoung.”
