Kibum sighs, picking at his nails as he waits. Minho's taking longer to get out of practice today, and he doesn't like just standing around. Especially when Minho's older brother is standing creepily off to the side, pretty much staring unabashedly at Kibum.
"...Are you doing something with Minho today?" he finally asks, the silence too much for him. He can handle awkward silences, and he can handle awkward staring, but he can't handle both of them together.
Minseok jumps a little at being addressed, a light blush spreading over his cheeks. "Oh, no I'm not," he says, smiling awkwardly. "I was going to visit eomma today, and Minho asked me if I could take his text books home for him as he had a 'not-date with a high-maintenance classmate' to go to. Said he didn't want to make the side trip home and couldn't leave them at school in the locker because he needs them for homework."
Kibum doesn't know what to say. To Minseok anyway. Minho's getting a mouthful when he gets out though. 'High-maintenance.' Minho hadn't even seen high maintenance.
Minseok chuckles, stepping closer and giving Kibum a rough pat to the shoulder. "I take it you're that classmate?" he asks, grinning. It's that same stupid grin that Minho has when he's being a dick, and Kibum huffs, crossing his arms.
"I see now why Minho likes to push your buttons," he continues, laughing again.
Kibum glares at him. "Oh?"
"You're cute when you're mad," is the answer, and Kibum decides he hates Minseok too. Insufferable bastards, both of them. But at least Minseok is nice enough to compliment him.
