In which Amy contemplates the fate of some of her sites and updates Windward

So, as I have said before, I am working pretty diligently on God's Decay, my Shirou Kamui tribute. It's a slow process that involves rewriting almost everything as well as developing new ideas. One thing about the new site is that it will (eventually) have manga volume summaries, which are pretty rare at this point. It's fun, but challenging ( Read more... )

I love Inuyasha for the same reasons... the character interaction over the fight scenes and more shounen aspects. It's the reason why I love One Piece, too. There may be giant battles and training and all that sort of thing, but the characters just have this incredible chemistry with each other. I suppose that's why both series fared so well in Japan and over here.

I also find that after the Shihinintai show up, it gets a little tedious. After they're gone though, I found that the story picked up again. I guess the series maybe just got too saturated and I felt that Jakotsu and Bankotsu were the only two with any real personality and depth. :/ It felt like it went on for so damn long.

Fushigi Yuugi is the same way, I think. My favourite parts are just where Miaka is traveling. The interaction with Tasuki... amagad. XD I die every time I see a scene with him and Tamahome or Nuriko. But once it gets to the end where things turn into SRS BSNS OMG and characters start dying... ._. I swear, Watase Yuu is heartless. ;_; I also found the whole virginity thing to be a bit much and don't even get me started on the stuff that happens through the OVAs (and equivalent printed materials that they were based on too, of course).

Anyway... xD You can never be too sentimental about your sites. When you think of how much time you've spent working on it... how can you just throw it away? It's pretty natural to feel some kind of attachment for something you invested a lot of time and effort in. :)

I'm glad you made your Miroku shrine. <3 I've been in the same boat before... "There's already a good site, should I even make one?" But I guess one thing that being in Amassment has really driven home to me, is that making a shrine is a lot about expressing your own opinion and your view point. Your sites and others have really inspired me to go the extra mile with my own now that I'm working on them again. ^^ And thanks for your complements... It makes me feel really nice that people are looking forward to whatever I accomplish. It's really motivational and it's actually touching. ^^ ♥
