In which Amy updates Alexiel.net and introduces her newest site
Well, since the last few weeks have been nothing but drama, I'm pleased to announce that this is an Alexiel.net update. First of all, I've updated the layout on the main site. I don't like it as much as the last one, but I thought it was time for a change.
Second, I finally get to announce the opening of my newest site, Not Another Bridezilla, a one-page tribute to the brilliant Donna Noble. It was so fun to work on and I can't wait to rewatch the bits of the series that I've had to leave somewhat incomplete.
The truth is that I didn't really like Donna all that much in the Christmas special. Perhaps it was because I was sympathizing with the Doctor following the loss of Rose so Donna's attitude towards him was a little... rough. Of course rewatching the episode after season 3, in which the Doctor is a bit of an ass, I revised my opinion. Sometimes the Doctor really needs someone to tell him to knock it off and Donna was awesome enough to do that. I did not like season 2 in many respects and I loved season 3, but it pissed me off in many respects. I was almost set not to watch season 4 at all until Donna showed up and was fabulous. She brought balance to the series and brought back the fun that drew me to the show in the first place. Her ending during the series finale was one of the most heartbreaking things in television in a long time and I still am a bit upset about it (Rose gets an almost perfect ending and Donna loses everything but her life). Anyway, Donna forever!
