In which Amy updates about her cancer
Hello again. I have an update on the tumor... and the news is not particularly good. I have Adrenocortical Carcinoma in stage 4 meaning that it has spread to my lungs as well. Currently the survival rate is 25%-35% after five years, which I don't quite understand since the there are two adrenal glands and you only really need one. I will have a lot of questions for the doctor tomorrow. How exactly do 65% of people die within the five years when you have two Adrenal glands. I'll have to ask the doctor that question. I will survive this for now, I have no doubt about that. I am just worried about the mess I will be when it is all over, only to have a very high likelihood of it coming back. Anyway, thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I know I am hoping for some really good luck and it means a lot to read your comments.
