I'm at my parents' house in Palm Beach Gardens. I'm actually updating from my computer because I got an iBook for Miami Ad last week (and a free iPod for Jess because I bought it that week!) and I'm giving them my old one. The past days have been wonderful and busy. Here goes

oh alex, i'm really so excited for you. i think this is definitely a change you needed (a change of scenery is something we all really need), and you seem like you couldn't be happier with the way things are headed. of course, i'm already missing you and wondering when our phone conversations are going to be jam-packed with all of the exciting things in your life, rather than our everyday celebrity gossip and random weirdo sightings ;) [really, i hope we'll still talk about these things, too]. i'm very proud of you for being so strong about moving. you're a better manperson than i.

We've talked about it and talked about it and we know that in order to do something with our lives we have to move on. I know it won't be easy, and just because I'll soon writing about all of the fantastic things I'm doing in Miami (with P.Diddy and J. Lo) don't think I will ever stop wishing, for a minute, that you were by my side every step of the way.

and just so you know, that is just about the greatest series of sentences i've ever read, for many different reasons. i love you and can't wait to see you tomorrow (today!) and then maybe again soon in MIAMI.

Back when Whitney could hide her addictions better. ----- Yes Amy, I KNOW we will still spend most of our time talking about trivial celebrities. Actually, my mom saw Danny Glover at the airport bar in Atlanta a few days ago. Hot news item! ;-)

I really hope we get to see each other today. We'll figure out something.

I realized lastnite that I never told you this, but when you gave me the letters I decided to hold off and read them when I was settled in and needed them. So, no I haven't read them, but you'll know when I do.
