Kari and I watched "Guerrilla: The Taking of Patty Hearst" on PBS lastnite. Man, it was good. I knew it happened, but I didn't know she was with the SLA for so long of for what reasons or anything. Oliver Stone directed and produced it so it was very dramatic and "dangerous", but all it was was news clips and recordings. It was so good. Kari and I can't figure out why a feature film hasn't been made out of it. The characters are great, the story is amazing, and there are robberies, and explosions, and poor people getting food in L.A. And Patty went from calling her family, and the cops "pigs" and disgusting when she was with the SLA to becoming a heavily-starched Connecticut society matron today. It'd be such a great movie.
