How many thousand times did I watch this episode?! Lois and Clark on a desert island was always going to be amazing, and it remains one of my favourites. Even better is the DVD version with all the cut out snippets. Season 3 and 4 they edited in the UK for some insane reason - love getting it uncut.

These are lovely! Do you know if it will be the unedited version on the UK DVD's? I have seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, but 3 and 4 aren't out yet.

I'm not sure which versions they will release. I'm in the UK myself but couldn't wait for the DVDs to be released so I got them through Amazon US....I certainly hope the UK versions are also the ones without any cuts!

Thanks for commenting :)

Okay, thanks--I hope so too! I remember loving the show when I was a child but didn't remember much about it. So I bought the first season on DVD when it came out and loved it, and then I got the second. So for me, it is like watching them for the first time!

Me too - I started watching when I was like, 12? And soon started taping all the episodes. But I had to live off my dying VHS copies until last year. So impressed by the shiny DVDs!

And also, *hails a fellow Gilmore fan* :)

I am impressed having the DVD's too! I am so glad I got them. The weird thing is my series 1 set didn't come with a booklet with the episodes list/guide in, but my series 2 did. I hope series 3 has one :)

Oh yay! You like Gilmore Girls too, I love that show so much!

That's too bad about your season 1 set - could you not take the set back? Hope you get one in the season 3 set.

I worship at the alter of Gilmore, or at least I did for seasons 1-4. Lately the writing has been a bit screwy for me and I hate what they're doing to my Luke & Lorelai, but....there is still not a show to match it in terms of witty banter, pop-culture references, and the most fabulous mother-daughter relationship ever to hit the small screen :)

I ordered it online, and when I got it, I emailed the company to ask about the booklet. They replied that one wasn't intended for that boxset. It is too late now :(

I do agree about Gilmore Girls. I really hate what they have done with L/L, and series 6 is my worst series. I just hope the new writer makes it better in series 7! But I still love watching it, and never get tired of watching the episodes over again!
