It's my birthday today! YAY!
LOL I'm going to have the most staggered birthday celebration ever. =D Birthday & family presents today, and then I'm going to the Bands Festival Finale tonight so we have no time to go out for tea, so we'll do that next week, and then my party's the week after that. =D WOO Two-week long celebration, hehehehe.
Oh, and we did Bands Festival on Thursday. I hope we get a Gold shield, we'll be the first band at our school to get 4 in a row! OMG we play this song called Palladio and I only have one rest throughout the whole thing. And it only goes for one beat, after a crescendo and then I have to start soft. So an way, I pla the first note of the whole thing, and I MISSED it. LOL GO ME. But I totally hit all the other ones, so yay.
LOL we were helping Matt pack the percussion stuff back into his car at the end of the night, & Joshels was tired (He gets like a tired little boy - not cranky, just liable to fall asleep standing up. It's cute =D) so he didn't come to Maccas with us afterwards. Then the next day in Lit class, I was talking to Emily, and we were saying how a lot of people weren't there because the Deb Ball was on that night. Emily's not in the music program so she didn't know that Bands Fest had been on.
Emily: Where's Josh? He did his Deb last week.
Me: Oh, I think he was pretty tired after last night.
Emily: *smirks, raises eyebrow* You tire him out, did you?
Me: *facepalms, laughs* Man, I can't say anything around you!
