I keep thinking of things that would make good entries, and then forgetting them, or putting them off until then I can't be bothered any more. :/
+ Anyway, on SUNDAY, I went into the city with some friends for a ~mystery outing~. It was my friend's birthday so we just sort of met up, and then when I got there he said we were going to Midsumma Carnival, which is this big LGBTQ event as part of Midsumma Festival. Much fun was had by all! There were butch women wrestling in a paddling pool of lube, surrounded by a giant inflatable penis and giant inflatable anal beads, whilst a drag queen refereed. My friend whose birthday it was (Ricky) introduced us to some of his new housemates, and they were lovely. I think Ricky had been a bit anxious about us all getting along (I do too when I have two groups meeting each other) but also because one of his housemates - Abby - is, in Ricky's words, "a big butch lesbian." He was pretty sure we were all fine with that but he sort of pre-warned us just in case because he said he knows people who would feel uncomfortable with it, and even though he doesn't think it's a big deal, he wouldn't want to bring his friends into an uncomfortable situation unknowingly. Anyway we assured him it was fine, and we all got on like a house on fire. Actually Abby proposed to me in Flinders St Station at the end of the day, so really that went about as well as could have possibly been hoped for.
+ ALSO I GOT A FLIGHT CONTROL TARDIS. IT MAKES TARDIS NOISES WHEN YOU MOVE IT. :D
+ Hmmm, I am pondering doing an entry about my sexuality and other people's perceptions of it and stuff like that, but I don't actually need to type it out for myself (since I already know what I think :P), so I am wondering who is interested? It'd be mostly stuff like my views on virginity & stuff, idk. I'll probably get a bit rambly. Further to that, if you are interested in my views on anything in particular, shoot me a comment and I'll mention it.
