I LOVED THIS EPISODE :D
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this opening ritual. It's like what they did as part of the knighthood ceremony, isn't it? The knight-to-be would spend all night in prayer, or something. Arthur looks so pure and good in all white like that. He looks like an innocent little boy ♥
"Thinking." "About?" "You." XDD ♥ I love that she hits him, haha. And OMG Gwen's face when they think they're making too much noise SHE IS ADORABLE.
So...what exactly does the trident do? Or is it just like...old and hard to get?
 Haha, hiccups ♥
 Gwen! BE MOAR SUSPICIOUS.
Awww, I love when Arthur & Gwen kiss. They have such sweet kisses. :D
LOOK AT THOSE REGAL MOTHERFUCKERS, WITH THEIR BOWING. ♥
I am really loving Morgana's hair in this episode.
Arthur, honey, that bracelet is actually pretty ugly. :/
Morgana, that is the worst likeness of Arthur I have ever seen in my life. It doesn't even have legs.
"I said get out!" OMG MORGANA. Way to be a bitch. >:[
 Gwaine!! :D
So...they stole new horses...what about the horse that Merlin used to get there? Or maybe it's the same horse, idk, I wasn't watching closely enough.
I really wanted Warwick Davis' character to be like "What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?" :P
That shot of Arthur crossing the Perilous Lands really reminds me of Simba crossing the desert.
 YAY GWEN!
See, now where did ARTHUR leave his horse? It's not like parking a car, y'know.
AWW GWAINE ♥'S MERLIN. :D Like, read their relationship as a friendship or as a romantic thing or whatever way you want, but you cannot deny that there is love there :D
TRIO! That is a badass idea, omg. Courage, Strength and Magic ♥
FOUR FOR YOU GWEN YOU GO GWEN!
I keep thinking Arthur is trying to destroy the One Ring.
OOH! The tower of Barad-dûr! Oh wait it's the Fisher King's castle. Riiiight.
AND IT'S GUARDED BY FELL BEASTS! Oh, I mean Wyverns?
lololol surprise party XD. I bet he'd secretly love a surprise party cos I bet he's ever had one.
Arthur, I totally get that this is really important to you. I get that your greatest insecurity is being unworthy to rule Camelot. I get that this is seemingly your only way to prove this to your father and to yourself. I get that when Uther said all that stuff about hoping you would be the man he hoped you were it was kind of like he discounted all the stuff you've already done (i.e. saving Camelot on numerous occasions, saving your father's life, saving Morgana, stopping Anhora etc) and made it sound like you still haven't proved yourself worthy. I get that. I'm on your side, man. I feel your pain. But right now you're kind of being a bit of a bitch. I know you often have trouble expressing non-agressive emotions due to your stunted emotional upbringing, but dude, you need to work on that, 'kay? Love you bb ♥
 OMG Fisher King!
LOL "Princess." YOU TELL HIM GWAINE. Also LOL FOREVER at Arthur's facial expressions XD
I see The Fisher King is giving Merlin the Light of Eärendil.
HUGTIEMS ♥ Gwaaaaaine, ilu. YAY for you not being emotionally stunted and being able to realise that Merlin needs a-huggin'. :D
Okay, now where did THOSE horses come from? Are horses like taxis? Can you just order them?
OKAY SO. I really really liked this episode. :D I think it's the standout of this series so far. And I loooved the concept of Courage, Strength and Magic, so I hope that comes up later. :D I wonder if this means that the future Knights of the Round Table will all represent something like this. I'm thinking of Lancelot here, since it seems odd to have a concept like this (if they carry it on) without him included. My first thought was that Lancelot would be Honour, but then I thought er, no, not if Lance/Gwen happens down the track in this show. So, what...Devotion? Humility?
The only issue I have is that I don't think Arthur should have then pretended that he'd done the task alone, because I don't think it fits with his character. If he wasn't alone then he didn't do it properly, and the one thing Arthur doesn't do by halves is try to prove himself. It's not like when he thought he'd killed the Dragon, this time he KNEW he'd had help and yet he was still fine to pass it all off as his own doing? And especially since Merlin never told him about the bracelet, so it's not even like he could factor in that handicap in evaluating his own performance. I just don't think he's be comfortable with it when this is like a whole ritual to prove his worthiness to rule. That is my one quibble with the writing, but hey, I am seriously in love with the other 90% of this episode, so :D :D :D :D
