Do you know how much anime I watched this weekend? A lot, that's who.
what? right-right. on with the show
So I watched Shura no Toki 3-5, and 5 is as far as it is thus far. It's a really good, fun show. Each episode gets a little better, even though there's no heavy plot. Just another one of those "random people join up with whoever, and there's a different fight with a different person each episode" anime, it just does it very well. I eagerly await ep6.
Also watched Kenran Butoh Sai: The Mars Daybreak eps4-5, and I think I watched ep3 on friday. Another great show. Also, it's by Bones, who have made a lot of my favorite anime; Rahxephon, Scrapped Princess, The Cowboy Bebop movie, Fullmetal Alchemist, Wolf's Rain. So they've got a great track record. The character designs/animation seem to remind me a lot of Wolf's Rain though, which isn't a horrible thing, but they're completely different shows, so it'd be nice to not mentally relate the two. Anyway, it's pirates, on mars, underwater. Really a lighthearted show though. All of Bones' other projects all had deep deep plots, and this one doesn't yet, and I kind of like that change.
Umm caught up to Kono Minikukumo Utsukushii Sekai, which is ep5, though I don't know where I was before Friday. It's a pretty good show. there are moments where it's great, and moments where it's dumb, or too fan-service-y. Either way, I like it enough to anticipate its new releases, like ep6 which I'm downloading right now :D It just came out a few hours ago, but the download is going slow.
You know, I don't think that's even it, I just don't feel like looking through to see what else I saw. I was also busier this weekend than I'd been for the past 2 months of weekends combined, so the fact that I saw all that anime is just more odd. I basically have spent all the time that I'm in my room (not sleeping) watching an anime. While I eat, whatever.
Anyhow, like I said, I've been busy and I'm now deadass tired, and I have to be up in about 7 hours, so I'm out.
oh, and if you read this, for fuck's sake, comment :P especially those of you who know me (and I'm offended none of you have commented yet, as I comment in yours enough...)
