Umm... I'm going to try this "updating" thing again. For the record, I mentally pronounced that "uh-gane". You know, just so you get the feel of this. Also, I'm dirty from work right now. Just so you get the feel of me. I feel like a very attractive man with dirt on him. There, now you really get the (lie) feel.

Samurai Champloo ep2. Yeah, just 1 ep. It was pre-empted for a week because of some olympic qualifying. Ep3 might be out today, should be out by monday. I dug it. Maybe not as good as ep 1 for a few minor reasons, but still very good. For the record (again), the V and B keys are too close together, making the word "very" be written as "bery" far too often. And that looks less like a typo, more like an attempt at sounding cute.
Gundam Seed, you ask? Almost done, I answer. I think I'll finish the last 2 eps today. GREAT series, my only problem with it is that it looks like it's going to end without resolving enough of the issues, and towards the end it's become a little too much like it was in the beginning; All in space, no earth. Which is fine sometimes, but there are only so many things that can be done in space without everything looking the same.
Hmm, watched the first ep of GunGrave, and it was ok. Nothing special, but everything I've read says to stick with it, because it doesn't get good until ep2 and 3. I've never been the best at listening to everyone else though, so I'm not sure when I'll get to ep2. Hmm, only one BakuTen has come out in the past 2 weeks, and I haven't seen it yet, so nothing there. Fullmetal Alchemist had a great episode last week. I watched it with Shannon (C) and it was the first time in a long time we'd watched an episode of anything for the first time together. I asked her politely not to "fuck up" the experience and she did a wonderful job of not ruining it for me. Which I was happy about, especially considering how nice the ep was. 2 eps of Kenran Butoh Sai, and ep9 was great. Ep10 on the other hand was "ok". A month or so ago I pointed out that the series is good but has little characterization. Well, the little characterigotasl;kjfgh is what brought the ep down to "ok". I spent too much of the episode thinking "why am I supposed to care about this character?" Because I didn't. At all. other than the kidnapped girl, I like her.
Shura no Toki was good, but not great. The main characters that I liked a lot have moved from the series. They went 20 years in the future, so there are new main characters. One of them is their daughter though (or at least I assume this) so I can like her. A little annoying though if you ask me.
I'm also re-watching Love Hina, and debating Ah My Goddess. slowly viewing Paranoia Agent and Kenshin too... eh.
