Feeling... inspired <3

I've been feeling inspired, especially from looking at pen pal blogs and looking through photos and the fabulous blog of http://www.herecomesthesunblog.com/

I would love to visit Auckland New Zealand one day, just for the lovely food and drink places. ;-) Seriously, there's this really cool bagel place called Ugly Bagels. They have a boba shop (Hulu Cat Tea House), and Mustache Milk and Cookie Bar! And a Hello Kitty Cafe!!! Those are the places I most want to visit, and I'm sure over there I will discover other lovely places as well :-)

I feel inspired to write more letters and send more postcards. I want to make someone's day and make them smile. I want to receive more happiness in my mail box and make more worthwhile connections with people near and far.

I want to read more books. Expand my horizons. Catch up with my reading goal and go even farther. Go to the library even more than I do now and even buy a few books when I can.

This summer I especially miss school, so I found this amazing online courses website: saylor.org They offer free online courses and using this website, you can obtain the knowledge of a B.A. in whatever major is available on there! Because I'm very interested in the English lit major, and I can't fit it in my school schedule, this is the next best thing. At least I will have the knowledge of an English lit major <3 I also want to fulfill the history major and the art history minor :-) so I enrolled in English 101, ancient civilizations, and art history appreciation. I've read through the syllabus for most of them but haven't done any serious work on them yet.

I also really want to be more fluent in languages, so on lingq.com I will do some Italian, maybe German or Korean. I'll see. I've wanted to learn Italian for so long that I think I will work on that first.

All done with my thyroid cancer treatment and I have so many beautiful opportunities ahead of me. I feel blessed. This has been one awesome summer so far. :-)

school, food, travel, epic summer, languages
