Why I hate Mondays

Under my previous work schedule, I had stuff planned for Thurs through Saturday. I was always doing something. I was never really bored. Cam Thurs and Fri, and get together with friends on Saturday. I also had time amongst that to do my chores and write and do my running around.

Now, it seems, I have too much time on my hands. Friday Cam has been cut out permanently, unless I can get loads extremely early enough... even then, I'd be showing up really late. Satuday Cam/Get together... Sunday I have a tabletop game.... so that's all in the clear...

Mondays: absolutely nothing. No where to go, nothing to really do. I can sit on my Xbox360 or PC and thumb through the same bookmarked pages for a while. There's very few games I'm interested in, and even Halo is losing its polish due to the online antics of the assholes that play.

On the plus side, it took until today to come down from a really awesome session that I never would have expected from a Saturday LARP. So, in that regard, I was very satisfied and then some. It had been a long time since I had been so deeply in character with excellent interactions with those around me... even the plot, as weird as it was, and it being a one-shot, got things rolling and gave something to talk about.

Well, I guess I'll be making a few phone calls to see what's going on in the other corners of the area. There's been a few people I ain't heard from in a while.
