Yeah, who needs the manga. Let's just make stuff up. Meh.
Okay. Okay. There are a couple of things I didn't like about this ep:
- It came out of nowhere
- Insufficient flashback was insufficient
- That dude form Shitenhouji stole Shishido's hat - HE NEEDS IT, OKAY?
- No Niou being Atobe - How will we ever get Niou Kingdom without this?
- No Sanada vs Yukimura
- Sanada's nose is getting boxier, no? >:|
What I did like about this ep:
- ALL THE SANADA LOVE
- The abundant Shishido
- Inui measuring the gap in the rocks while Tanishi looks stuck
- Sanada listening and reacting to everything the other losers say
- Sanada taking the lead
- Sanada being the focus (more or less)
- ALL THE SANADA LOVE
EDIT: Okay, wait. Wait. When Momo slips off Kaidou's back, Sanada catches him. But then they skip over the Niou!Atobe part and suddenly they're all on top of the mountain. Then there's a shot of Momo standing next to Sanada. Just the two of them. ARE THEY IMPLYING SANADA CARRIED MOMO?! Or am I thinking too much?
Overall, I'm not so completely pissed. I actually liked this episode. All Sanada focus certainly helped. I really need to take a step back from this tenipuri world, anyway. Whooboy. ...after this:
