Where to begin?
Soooo...
Last semester was awesome. Loved my classes, did pretty well, had a great time socially. I can't believe I'm gonna be a senior next year.
I'm in the DC area for the summer, specifically Alexandria, VA. I'm doing an internship with International Rights Advocates, which is an offshoot of the International Labor Rights Fund. Basically, they provide legal representation for workers across the world who are victimized by large corporations. I'm working on developing their website and monthly newsletter, and developing contacts with college and community radio stations.
I love DC so far. The people are terrific, and there's always so much going on. I have a lot of work to do, but it's going to be a blast. I'm so terrified and excited all at once.
