(no subject)
i don't like the word or idea "child". it seems to imply an inferiority. i've known "children" who were brighter than me. i am a "child", does that make my thoughts less valid? do i have to defer when i disagree because i am a "child"? little person...i think that's better. it's exactly what i want it to mean. a smaller version of you and me, still thinking deep thoughts, still having memories and pains and joys.
