The best day on campus in 4 years
Saturday, Finch invited me to hang out with him at the Kappa Sig house. I havent been to a fraternity house in over a year at least. I showed up around 2 right as rollin in the hay was packing up to finish their set. Seems like the start of an unlucky day, right? Wrong. Finch and I drank our way through many beers that day, and we ended up seeing a band from oxford ms, Absolum Horizon. they were pretty cool, and they invited me backstage so i could meet the headliner band for the night, Perpetual Groove. Well, after the best day of hanging out with finch- that in itself was some of the most fun i have ever had on campus here- then I got to meet perpetual groove (who was paid 12 grand to play this gig at the Kappa Sig house) And I adventured with them and went on their bus, and hung out in the frat house until 6 in the morning.
With all the adventures i have had dealing with going to concerts and seeing bands play, hanging out with perpetual groove is easily at the top of the list. They are really awesome individuals, who have played huge crowds at major music venues. And I was on their BUS!!
