It's been awhile...
Long time, no update.
I've nearly reached week three of my Cambridge adventure. The city is one of the most heavenly on earth...even walking to the grocery store is a journey through a thousand years of historical monuments. The building I'm sleeping in is the better part of 600 years old. The stone is worn down where people have walked over it over the years. Walking outside the rooms at ten o'clock you can hear the chimes of an ancient bell, and the sounds of organ music echoing out of the chapel. What more can I say?
Though I workin the office I've gotten to go on all of the excursions thus far, and they've all been wonderful. Even the two hours spent hiding from the thunderstorm at Warwick castle was pretty cool in it's own way.
In brief other news, I got my scholarship back, as my GPA went back up to 4.06 last year. Since I didn't even know it was possible, I'm giddy as a school girl. Wooooooo.
Tuesday is my last day here, before spending a week watching the kids (Especially my sister) in Paris. Then, it is back home, to dash my way back to my beloved Shannon! I'm missing her like crazy, and spending more on nightly phone calls than any other expense! It's nice to know though that this time I'll have someone marvellous to look forward to returning to!
I'm running out of time at this cafe, and as Shannon still hasn't logged on, I guess I'll depart with a message of love for her. Mea Shannon, amo te hodie, et amabo te in aeternum!
